Kan Cicekleri episode 162

 The Road To Recovery

Quick synopsis: Dilan's confession is heard. Firat makes an accusation. Some poor patsy is going down.

Dilan is confessing all the things she wanted to say to him, snuggled up against him in the hospital bed. And that's how he wakes up. For a hot second.
She notifies the family, the doctors check him out, and then Viran shows up. Sabiha has sent her to help them through this situation. (Keep tabs on, more like.) He wakes up again and is less groggy, more like himself. And he does remember some things. Like her saying she never stopped loving him. Woot!

Hasan keeps being a weirdo in the waiting room whenever Viran or Sabiha show up. Everyone thinks he's being a dope from Kudret to Firat and even Azade.
Sabiha has more plans: for what Baran might think is going to happen, for when the police show up, for when the Karabeys start investigating. She's Sun Tzu Sabiha.
Baran is remembering more too, like how she held him after he was shot. The police come. No one remembers anything. *cough*  Baran doesn't like that Sabiha is there in the room with them and the police. Dilan grabs Sabiha's arm in a teeth-clenching 'thanks'. And proceeds to follow her out into the stairwell to tell her she will pay for this. I think Dilan really has had it and is going to reign fire down on Sabiha's head. Bring it! She's rededicated herself to Baran and is done with the manipulation. I want to breathe a sigh of relief, but we know better.

Baran is still cranky and tells her, when there's no one around, that she can stop pretending to care for him. I don't get it. Does he think he dreamed the stuff he's remembering? He concedes to letting her feed him soup. He gets pj's and is walking around. He's eager to get out of the hospital. Sabiha offers to send a private nurse home with him. No, his wife's care will do, thanks. This after he and Dilan had argued just moments before. I wonder though...leaving early, wanting no one else near him...maybe he is still suspicious of Sabiha, still laying a #trap.

Sabiha and Viran plan to make some poor sap take the fall for the attempted murder.
Dilan is a sick bed warden and it's fantastic. He doesn't stand a chance. She even drags that big, blue chair over and starts reading to him again. Ha!
The boys are going after Sabiha's patsy. Cihan is kinda ruthless. I'm not sure what's going on with that. He's got a new hairstyle, growing a beard...taking his place in the heads of household I guess?
Derya's got new hair. Her big plans for living at the mansion are still not what she'd hoped for. The same small room. But this time sharing it with Firat. The nerve of these Karabeys! She demands Firat ask for more.

Dilan continues to ruthlessly watch over the patient. Wanna watch a movie, Baran? No. Yes you do. No. Well, maybe. I mean, it's right there. Oh, he got sucked in. Don't look at me. I'm not watching it.

Earlier, Firat and Gul had a moment in the stairwell of the hospital where he surprised her by asking how she was doing in all this. Her reply was that she was thankful to be around two people so in love because it reminded her what love can be like. Now, after Derya's tantrum, Gul comes out to him by the pool. Her turn to be sincere. He finally makes the accusation: she chose power (she didn't) and money (she never took the money) over love too. It leaves Gul confused. What does he mean?

Dilan gives Baran back the scarf. He is sure now that he heard her at the hospital. ("Come hell or high water, I never stopped loving you.") He asks her if it's true. Did she stop, or did he hear right?

Culturalisms:
"He's awake! Sacrifice the rams!" Wait, really?!?
It's so funny how they say Doctor-bey, like Doctor is the name.
Sabiha really does have great shoes.

Yelling at the tv:
Dilan folds the page down (twice!) to mark her place in the book. Bookmark, people! BOOKMARK!
Girl, don't make me say it again. Tell him!
0 Hagia Sophias chanted.

Teaser 163:
Time to change the bandages. He flinches and she is immediately on alert. There are 2 Dilans, he says, the one who reacted when he was hurt and the one who played him for revenge. Which is real?
