 Episode 206 Everyone Knows

Quick synopsis: The family finds out. Gul is not happy. Buy the shares already.

Cihan wants to take a photo of them all together at breakfast. Hasan uses it as an opportunity to out Dilan as adopted, in his not-subtle yet off-handed way, thereby lighting a powder keg.
Azade-doom goes boom.
Cihan puts his head in his hand like 'oh boy, here we go'. Kudret is pissed and scowling. Baran has hold of Dilan's hand and looks like he's about to throw Hasan out the house.
Hasan elaborates. 🤦🏼 The Demirs tricked the great Karabey family. vy vy vy
Azade asks (yells) if this is true, that they took some rando girl into their home.
Oh, but there's more.
Hasan knows just whose daughter she actually is: Hikmet's.

Sabiha picks that moment to phone Dilan. She's not picking up. (Obvi.) Sabiha decides she will go to the mansion.
No, she won't. Cevahir chose that moment to pay her a visit.

Hasan keeps going: Hikmet covered up Seyit's crime. That's whose daughter they have.
Kudret is the first to break. He slams his fists on the table and tells Hasan to Shut. Up.
Dilan would pull her hand away but Baran holds it tight.
Azade-doom is going to kill them, the people who tricked them. The way she is yelling, I bet she wishes she had her cane.
Baran lays down the law: No, and no. To any of it.
Ope! She does have her cane. Bang. Bang. And she drops the wedding day bomb:
Didn't Dilan run away on her wedding day to get her revenge and play us all?
(What a cluster f---.)
Kudret, Firat...everyone but Cihan and Baran look surprised.
Baran finally pulls his hand from hers to to jump up and bang on the table. Now everyone is on their feet.
Whew boy.

Cevahir makes himself at home at Sabiha's house. He did not hear any of Sabiha's conversation with Havin about Dilan. He does want to know if his edict was followed. Did she buy Firat's shares yet? She promises to before he gets murderous.

Baran grabs Dilan's hand again almost immediately. And pulls her behind him, shielding her. More yelling. Dilan finally goes upstairs. Kudret gives a nod to Baran. Go. He'll handle things down here.  Firat and Gul split too. Firat also sees it as trickery. Gul brings perspective. She has only sympathy.
Dilan gets big hugs and comfort from Baran.
The problem is that the vendetta is what drives Azade's life. And Dilan has slowly been chipping that away. First with the marriage, then remembering Ayten less morbidly, Kudret getting better...all these things--though she may be happy about some of them--they incrementally undo her identity. Without that vengeful fire in her belly, what does she have?

Firat is outside when Sabiha walks up. Wearing a blue dress and with her hair down. She tries to convince Firat he can pay his part of their partnership, the one that is much more beneficial to him than her, with his shares.
I wondered how she was going to broach the sale.
Nope. No deal.
Dilan walks out and Sabiha calls to her but she doesn't hear. Does she have a problem? she asks Firat.
Oh lady...
Just family stuff, Firat answers.

Baran has come back down. And he has questions:
1. Why did you do that?
2. You don't share stuff like that at the breakfast table, don't you know that? Aren't you supposed to be an elder? (That one cuts.)
3. What's your purpose?
4. Are you acting alone?
5. Why didn't you talk to me? I stayed quiet for a reason. Did you think of that?
He is vibrating with fury.
Hasan gets a call from Cevahir. They need to meet.
Kader checks in on Dilan. She's the mom again.
Gul confides to Firat that she doesn't like Sabiha. He wants to know, is there something Gul knows that he doesn't? It means something to him, his wife's opinion. He won't forget it.
The Karabey boys are worried about the trouble Hasan and Azade could stir up. Cihan is in charge of sending some guys to watch over the Demirs.

Cevahir is really antsy for Firat's shares. He is supposed to buy them off Sabiha after she gets them from Firat. (Good lord, people.) He doesn't have much time. (That's a curious new timetable.) But Sabiha, rather than being intimidated, takes this as a sign that she needs to be rid of Cevahir sooner than she'd planned. He must have a secret they can exploit. Havin will find out.
She has a good point. Now I want to know too. What is with that guy?

Kudret finally gets the full truth about Dilan being kidnapped and saying she left instead, all to protect Baran. He understands now why Baran is distrustful of Sabiha.
Cihan is also in charge of Kerem's computer and getting the Sabiha dossier. He's really coming up.
When the guys are finished, Baran comforts Dilan some more.*
Hasan and Cevahir have a meeting too. They are moving ahead with a shipment, whether or not it meets Baran's high ethical standards for doing business.
Havin has been listening 2 tables away. That's what Cevahir gets for working en plein air. Go get 'em, weird girl.

Seyit and Kudret have a meeting. They discuss the bodyguards and Dilan; is she ok? Kudret calls him off with a weirdly snarky, "No one will touch her while Baran is alive."
(I have questions. Like, why specifically mention 'Baran' and 'alive' in the same sentence?)
Seyit feels like the longer they keep Hasan's secret, the more his evil grows. He wants to tell. Kudret says no. If he does, Kudret will deny it.**
Hasan is back in time to witness them talking. So does Azade-doom. He pushes the idea of taking out Seyit for tricking them. His gamble on saving face as a motive backfires though. Azade forbids him from making their humiliation known to the wider world. She is especially hissy and cobra-like. For realz. It's practically Parsel-tongue. Outside this edict though, he has free reign. i.e. Seyit is going down.

Firat and Gul have a secret meeting. He is waxing poetic on what they'll be able to do once everyone knows they are married. It's very cute.
Kader overhears everything.

Hasan fills Azade in on his plan. No one will trace the hit back to them...yadda yadda. They are on the patio discussing their nefarism.
(Why are these people always out in the most obvious spaces?)
Azade-doom takes a Hammurabli approach: since we were surprised by her adoption, this will be our surprise for her! Their evil banter is overlay for the couple gazing lovingly, unshakably, at each other.

Yelling at the tv:
*There's a new, covered swing on the Karabey patio. Dilan uses it when remembering the fiasco that was breakfast.
**This is huge for him. Imagine Kudret and Ayten had as great a love as Baran and Dilan. By all accounts, accurate. And instead of telling the world what a rat his brother is, he will deny the truth in favor of coming full circle. They need all the facts, these men, and though it has to be killing him, Kudret won't sacrifice a just conclusion.

They must have dyed Baran’s hair again. It's matte dark.

 Episode 205 Sabiha's Protection Racket

Quick synopsis: Mourning a mother. Firat almost spills the beans. Hasan actually does.

Baran is ticked Dilan took off again to Sabiha's and I can't even feel bad about it. Damn straight bro.
Sabiha doesn't recant her lie that Dilan's mom is dead. I still say she should enlist Baran. I'm going to channel Kerem for a minute: Talk to him!
Dilan and Sabiha have a heartbreaking conversation that I am just not up for. Am I hardened? Maybe. Like, just spit it out already. Also, I can't take another heartbreak episode. Bah.

Oh Gul, no....don't do it. Don't fall for Hasan's crap again. Firat doesn't get the chance to explain what she thinks she just overheard because Kader walks in and he has to bounce or risk her finding out about them.

Sabiha tells Dilan about her mom though. It's heartbreaking (did I mention?) but also comforting. She proposes they become surrogate mother and daughter to each other. This seems like a nice compromise but it won't help the original fear that started the lie. If Cevahir finds out how beloved this surrogate daughter is, won't that be exactly the same situation?
Dilan is amenable to the idea. Sabiha tells her more about her mom. Dilan wants to know, got any photos of her?
Now that's a million dollar question...
Baran shows up. It's clear looking at the two women that something has happened. And he's comletely disarmed when Dilan just walks up to him and lays her head on his shoulder in a hug, needing comfort. She tells him her mother is dead.

Gul finds an apology bouquet from Firat in the living room. He is peaking from around the corner as she discovers it.
I love it when he's basically a big kid.
Gul keeps a hard line though; he visitied his ex-fiancee without telling her. He was wrong. She leaves and Cihan continues the argument with him.
You know what would take the wind right of this whole fiasco?  If Firat gave the shares to Baran. Or even Gul. He's got a good heart. That isn't the question. It's the not telling them that's the problem.
But maybe Derya wouldn't have sold them--or Cevahir wouldn't have told her to--if they'd known he was an agent of Baran's.

Baran is pretty upset with Sabiha. If she knew the truth this whole time, why hide it from them?
What I want to know is, how is she going to come back from this lie? Like, 'no wait, not only is your mom not dead, but surprise! It's me!' That will be a hard pill to swallow.
Sabiha fakes having researched into Esra after they left. (Plausible.) Havin is still sure the time for the truth will come.

Kudret greets them when they return home. He can tell it's not good news. Poor Dilan. All that time and energy and now there's no hope of a reunion at all. Baran is very supportive.
Gul is being pretty hard on Firat. He decides is she won't forgive him, he'll...he'll...tell her mom they got married! I dare you, she says. I don't believe anything you say anymore.
I bet he does tell her. I mean, is he a man of his word, or not?
Buckle up, Buttercup.

Father and son talk it out, about Dilan's situation. Baran feels awful.
Where's Ahmet?
He is also so sure Sabiha is still hiding something. That man's instincts are spot on. I suppose that's why he's the head of the family. As ever, he'll track don the facts of what Sabiha told them about Esra's life. Kerem said he backed up all his computer data so maybe Baran can start there. Kerem! That guy. *sigh* No one could beat Kerem for digging.*
Now that he's got a plan, Baran feels better.

Firat walks into the kitchen and starts talking to Kader. He and Gul have been texting. She shoots him a message to stop. She gives; he wins. He's forgiven.

Now they are both sad about losing their moms. He fed Dilan soup, but he hasn't eaten. They go to the kitchen. They will cook together. Hair up, sleeves rolled up. A reprise of their onion argument. Lots of inner monologue with looks.
Sabiha needs to keep Cevahir off any notion that Dilan is important to her. She'll buy Firat's shares. And if Cevahir ever even thinks about hurting her daughter...she'll kill him.
Dilan puts photos of her and her mom in their new family albumn.
Gul truly forgives Firat, not just under duress.
Kudret expresses his condolences to Dilan. She is making breakfast for everyone. Azade-doom and Hasan the rat are not impressed. Baran and Kudret talk some more. Hasan eavesdrops. He discovers Dilan is adopted. And who her real parents are.
Oh boy.
He jumps through all the predictable, conclusional hoops.
Breakfast is an interesting affair. I keep forgetting Dilan cooked in her family's restaurant. Cihan wants to take a selfie with everyone. Hasan opens his big mouth: Fortuitous that Dilan is in this photo, non? Given how the Demir's tricked them and she's adopted?
Dilan drops the plate she's serving from. Baran catches it. He brings her around to her seat at the table, at his side. Hasan has his full attention. Baran takes Dilan's hand.
Azade-doom is a hawk. Kudret's face is murderous.
We end on a split screen of Dilan and Baran's faces, one cast down and one glaring.

Yelling at the tv:
Sabiha's got a lovely sun porch. She and Dilan have their conversation there.
There's a beautiful, deep purple bed set on their bed now.
These men have incredibly long eyelashes. Damn them.
*This is the first time they're getting into Kerem's computer?!? For realz? Isn't that the first thing you do in a situation like his? I mean, how has Baran been doing all Kerem's work since his death?

Culturisms:
There's a lot of scent and smelling that happens in this and recent episodes. Like smelling your mom's scent when she hugs you. I understand the comfort of that concept but I'm not sure if the show is playing it up for this particular plot point or if this is a larger, cultural meme.

Teaser 206:
Dilan is remembering Azade going full doom  on those that trick the Karabeys. And not on her behalf.

Kan Cicekleri 204

Episode 204 Are You My Mother?

Quick synopsis: An almost reveal. An enemy still lurks. Cevahir the lunatic.

Esra Yilmaz worked at the Rustem Emiroglu hospital. Sabiha's hospital. They go to Sabiha's house. Did she know her?
(Sounds like. Amiright?)
They don't reveal why they want to know. Sabiha denies knowing the name. Havin looks as confused as we are. Baran thinks something's fishy. She was important to her husband. How could she not know her? He helped a lot of people. How could she know them all? Baran sees her hands shake. Is she hiding something?
She lies to his face. Nope, not hiding anything.

Firat, you poor toad. He's grimacing to himself, saying, "Stupid Firat!" He made Gul angry again.
Dilan is bummed again. Baran bolsters. He thinks they are close to a discovery. That her mom is close to them.
The double entendre is fairly loud.
Firat bought jewelry to apologize. He is congratulating himself. I'm not liking this plan. Gul doesn't like to be bought. The actual words he uses are up to snuff though. The jewelry is a necklace with a huge frickin' jewel pendant. She can't wear it, of course, not at her job. They'll ask.
She loves it though. He puts it on her anyway.
They don't kiss either.

Baran knows Sabiha is lying. He doesn't know why but he's got experience with these things. Dilan actually has the same feeling too, like there's something Sabiha isn't telling them. They form a plan to wait her out, see what she does. Dilan has second thoughts. Not much for waiting, our girl. Maybe Sabiha would talk if Baran wasn't around? She plans to beg her. She literally runs away to Sabiha's house.
Should she tell Baran she's going? I think we know the answer to this. Does she ever? Ditto.
In an effort to sway Sabiha, Dilan divulges that Esra Yilmaz was her mother.
Baran can't find her. Where did she go? I think he knows.
He remembers her saying they should talk to Sabiha again--which got a small teeth-suck at the time. Did she go there? He thinks he knows.
Sabiha gets the whole story about the adoption being kept a secret. They are basically crying at each other. It's a big ole bawl fest. Dilan's medallion comes out. Look what her mom left her! Sabiha clutches hers through her blouse. She is about to speak when Baran rounds the corner. He pulls Dilan behind him. If Sabiha really wants what's best for her, time to ante up: What does she know about Esra Yilmaz?
She is silent.
I don't get it. Why? She's scared Dilan will reject her (because torture) but after hearing Dilan's desperation, wanting the same things she wants, what gives?
I bet we get a soliloquy to explain it.

Azade-doom wants to know what is Friat's impetus for buying the shares. He's still feeling inadequate and not being taken seriously. He can't do things the way Baran would, but they also don't treat him as an equal. Not all the time.
Kudret wants to talk too. I bet his talk goes better.

Baran has walked far ahead after they've left Sabiha's house. He's miffed. Dilan's way didn't yield the results she wanted but it's kind of his fault for approaching like he did. Her instincts were sound; Sabiha would have spilled if he wasn't there.

Kudret's approach with Firat is the flawless, "you're right and" strategy. Plus, he has an excellent sense of how to do it. Things like, "you're a smart kid...didn't you see this would make Baran mad?" And he offers counsel; come to him next time and they can talk things over. He shows him a path to what he wants instead of condemning his actions, which only has the effect of making him want to defend them.
Hasan thinks Kudret is brainwashing him. Well...kind of. In the best way possible: washing Hasan out.
Here's hoping.

This will be the first bedtime in a long time where the newlyweds are at odds with one another. How's that gonna go?
Pretty well, actually. He was mad. He yells a little. But then he takes her by the shoulders. He was so scared something could happen to her. There's still an enemy out there. Someone who shot him...who raided the wedding...
Oh. Yeah. That. Dilan doesn't really have an answer for that because it was Sabiha.
In Baran's eyes, Sabiha is still sneaky.
But it's the classic overprotective racket and it doesn't leave room for her to be the solution, like she has been in the past, when she would go off on her own. Like with his dad's paralysis, or his mom's stuff. I hope it doesn't become the new norm, that their open love for one another is dependent on her giving up her independent thought and action. That would suck.

Sabiha has decided she's going to tell Dilan she's her mom.*

In the morning, Sabiha calls and says she'll tell Dilan everything. Can she come right over? She will, and she wants to tell Baran right away where she'll be, but where is he? She has to go before Sabiha changes her mind. What to do?
Cevahir shows up at Sabiha's door instead. (Well that's a downer.) Walks right in like he owns the place. Sabiha won't buy Firat's shares. He yells. Sair and Havin face off. (Like it's even a contest.)
Ooooh! But it's not Sair who grabs Havin, it's Cevahir! And he looks a little wild.

Dilan calls for Baran, but he's not around. She leaves anyway. She feels bad about it, but goes anyhow. This seems foolhardy. I know I've said I'm not a fan of the overbearing things he does. I'm not. She made a promise though, and that's different. And one freely given, not coerced. Dilan, chica, come on.
Although if it interrupts Cevahir's grip on Havin, that could be helpful. And then Baran can show up like a boss, all mysterious and knowing, heropanti to Cevahir's madman. Do I know my show or what?
I don't, I guess, because what happens is Sabiha pleads with him and he finally lets go. With a promise that next time, he will kill her. While looking Sabiha in the eye.**

Hasan starts in with Firat again, trying to convince him to keep Derya hanging. She might still be useful. This all happens as Gul comes in with coffee. Firat's head whips around. She's only heard what Hasan said and can't see Firat's face full of 'oh hells no'.
I feel like maybe a little trust is in order here. C'mon Gul. You know Hasan is a rat. Why would you trust him over your boo?

Baran gets the call from a guard that Dilan is at Sabiha's.
Cevahir leaves before Dilan gets there, but his visit spooked Sabiha. Cevahir threatened to kill everyone she knew. How would she keep Dilan safe?
Are you kidding me with this question? I know: Baran. He lives for this kind of stuff. Particularly in regard to Dilan.
She decides though, that the best way is to tell her, "Your mother died."
Oof, harsh. The definition of tough love.

Yelling at the tv:
The Demir's buddy Harun is looking less scruffy these days and more clean cut. I suppose because he's helpful now instead of thuggish.

*Sabiha looks a little like a vampire with her hair down and her black robe.

**I thought his schtick was looking in the victim's eyes as he killed them. I suppose that makes Sabiha the victim. Either way, prick move. Still, Cevahir, my dude, stick to your particular propensities, non? I guess we can't expect consistency from a lunatic.

Teaser 205: Dilan is crying. She is very sad. Baran knows a thing or two about losing your mom. He's a little done in himself.

Kan Cicekleri 203

 Episode 203 An Emiroglu Reveal

Quick synopsis: Firat’s got shares. The medallion is seen. Nevin is found.

Nevin Ucarz is the woman who gave Dilan's bio mom a job. They'll visit her later.
But right now, Dilan walks her father out after his visit. Baran goes to follow but Kudret stops him. They need to talk alone, let them.
Dilan finally confronts her dad about why they gave her up for the vendetta. Maybe she'll understand what they did when she's a mom too, but they will never understand her.
Damn Dilan, with these good points.
Hanife gave her up easily but she trusted her dad so his betrayal hurts the most. He gets the stink eye from Baran when he leaves.
Baran, who is her only peace.

Sabiha is still really upset with herself for being so rotten to Dilan. Havin reminds her not to be too hard on herself, that she had all her loved ones ripped from her; that she was enraged. It only serves to drive home the point though that this is also exactly what she did to Dilan. Why would Dilan welcome Sabiha as her mother after begging to know if Baran and her family were shot, only to be ignored?
Sabiha has been the instrument of her own worst fears.

Firat stands up to Azade. He's kinda done with all of it. She bangs her cane at being thwarted.
But he's basically still a big kid, so Gul knows something is up, though she desn't know what, or about the shares.

They are on the way to see Nevin. They are trying to have a quick sandwich first, but Baran is worried she's too excited to eat. So he's basically holding the sandwich up for her, like a toddler. Oi. She also takes miniscule, dainty bites. Girl, eat your food. Double Oi.

Baran has found out Derya sold her shares. To Firat.
Enter Firat. And Hasan the rat. Firat is smug. Baran is mad. Sure Firat has the shares, but what does Derya get out of this? What was he thinking?  Derya's gain vs. the shares being in enemy hands...they are equally dangerous. It seems like the boys are almost on equal footing, with the exception being that Baran is the head of the family. But both their points are valid. This could be an opportunity to forge a closer relationship. Baran, babe, calm down.
Cihan perfects his Karabey scowl throughout.
Gul learns the truth. Firat brushes it off. After he leaves, she gives a small teeth-suck. (Yes, Gul!) She's back in detective mode.
Baran bursts into the bedroom livid and slamming things. Dilan does her best to reason out the situation. Maybe Firat felt ignored and thought this would give him a voice. But top of mind for Baran is always that Derya is Kerem's killer. And that smarts. She reminds him that Firat is not his enemy. What else can she do?
Nothing. She's all he needs, just her presence. Kiss on the cheek.

Cihan becomes Baran's emissary. Firat, why bro? But he remains unrepentant. Don't they see that he did them a favor? Derya is out of their lives, finally! I suspect he also feels some guilt over having drawn her back into their lives in the first place when he almost married her. And he makes a good point: they immediately distrusted him. Instead of saying that he was a Karabey and must have known what he was doing. (Which is a legit accusation.)
It's the lack of consultation, the acting alone that they find distrustful. Still...

Baran's fears are not unfounded; Cevahir instructs Sabiha to buy Firat's shares. So he can then buy them off her. She puts him off. He is a sexist creep who complains how it's hard to do business with women and who is she to have the nerve to question him?*
Oh Sweetie. We all have questions about you.
Sabiha can stand it no longer; she goes to the mansion to see Dilan. She meets Ahmet in the driveway. (A redeeming characteristic, to have a consult with Ahmet. Interesting...)
His advice is basically that she's worthy, what the heart knows but doesn't tell is a burden. In other words, tell her you're her mother.
She tries, but they have a misunderstanding about the medallion. She interprets Dilan's story about how she got the medallion to mean that she loves her adoptive parents so very much. It puts her off her plan.

Firat finds Gul in the garden and is excited to have his wife to himself. Not so fast, my toad. A word. She appeals to his pride. Tell me husband, tell your wife what you're hiding.** He overreacts at her insistence. Not cool my dude. Which he realizes almost as soon as he does it, the big goober.

The Nevin woman comes to the mansion to talk to them. She's obsessed with the house and how rich they are.*** It's weird and maybe she's angling for payment for info. Or reimbursement for what she did all those years ago. I'm not sure. Mr. Emirogul owned the hospital where she worked and always treated her kindly.
Oooooh. Now this is a name they know. It's Sabiha's last name.
They think maybe Esra worked at Sabiha's hospital.
(I'm dying over here.)
Just after Sabiha decides not to tell Dilan because it could cause a rift in her wonderful relationship with her adoptive parents (and kudos to her for that consideration, however misplaced) Dilan and Baran show up at her door. They are looking for Esra Yilmaz. Can she help?
(Literally dying.)
FrownyBaran looks on as Dilan is hopeful.

Yelling at the tv:
* It's nice to see the blatantly chauvinistic attitude be associated with the villain. As it should be.
**For the record, Gul is going to be a tough mom to get things past. On the other hand, the kids could be charmers like their father and slip right on by.
***She notices the pool outside. Oh, how lucky! They must be in it all summer!
Ha! Fat chance. They never use it. Not to push someone in, like a villain creating a ruckus; not themselves; not even as a conversation about having been swimming even though we never see it. Nada.
Derya was right, that is a tiny room. After seeing Kudret's even, with his couch, this is pretty small.

Teaser 204: Sabiha is holding Dulan's hands as they both cry. The medallion comes up again. Dilan (and I know this is the translation, but....) wants her help and asks her to undo her shackles. Mind blown. Sabiha is about to tell her when Baran walks around the corner.

Kan Cicekleri 202

 Episode 202 A Closer Couple

Quick synopsis: Waiting on test results. Firat gets some shares. The intentional slow burn.

The hospital lists didn't pan out any info on Dilan's mom. She is feeling forlorn. But Baran gave his word, they'll find her. There's no giving up.*

Gul was this close to her mom discovering her marriage certificate in her bag. She and Firat disagree about telling everyone the news. They're pretty cute about it though.
It's pretty convenient for Sabiha that she owns a hospital. She took that sample of Dilan's DNA (from the teacup) straight to a lab there. Now, we wait.
Baran has cancelled his meetings. His work today is loving his wife. (Awww.) He is really liking being able to grab her around the waist and pull her into him. He tells her to get ready; they're going out. And when she questions it, and he says, "Just do as I say", it's with a wink. WinkyBaran!
The best by far.

Derya says she'll sell her shares to Firat. Firat is not so trusting. Hasan wants him to be a rat and use them against Baran. (If he did get them, it would be a solution to a huge headache for the Karabey family, and a way to prove his good intentions to Baran and Kudret.)
Cevahir has some weird rules about being diabolical. He imparts them to his henchman Sair. While throwing bits of bread to (at?) seagulls. Like he's an old man, sharing wisdom.
He is no member of the Mage Club. #weirdhobbies
His meeting with Baran was one of those that got rescheduled today. Last minute. He takes the news well enough; the glove remains calm.

Oh no...Dilan can't get the clasp on her necklace to catch...what to do... Enter Baran. The clasping isn't unusual but the aftermath is a very intimate affair. There's this slow process that keeps happening, that's even more sensual than an almost kiss. The moments are all still almost kisses, but this process breaks it down to the tiny fundamentals of getting from here to there. He'll kiss her temple, say, and then she turns just a bit and we have the almost kiss. Then we get the moments of closer:
He'll nuzzle her cheek and she'll turn more
He'll press closer to her cheek so it's evident he's ready for more
It gives her a chance to decide to try a little too
She'll turn to face him and he keeps his mouth so close, brushing her face but not kissing
He'll move in closer as they face each other, and wait
He might lean infinitesimally toward her but still wait for her to make the final contact
She's still shy or unsure, so in the end, he keeps waiting as she scoots away to fiddle with something else.
And it's still an almost kiss but of a very different kind. I think they are still playing it up and we will eventually see them smooch.
He always rejoins her escape with a loving comment or tells her a detail or a story of how his parents showed their love in quiet ways. I think it's to help make her feel like he sees her love for him, even if she is still shy. This time it's how his mom would iron his dad's shirt and wouldn't let anyone else do it. "You're just like my mom," he'll say.
And holy carp y'all--look how far we've come.

He tries again, this time while holding her head in his hands after a forehead kiss. He's actually leaning down to close the distance...no dice. They have to hurry, they'll be late.
But as he changes his shirt, he buttons it up unevenly. Oh here, let her, she'll do it.
Ladies and gents, she's unbuttoning his shirt! I don't think Baran breathes. Or if he does, they're sharing air. He's that close. Their noses are overlapping.
See what I mean?!? By. Degrees.

The next time we see them, they are at the beach, confessing how they each fell in love with the other, but the other one never knew it. I didn't realize how much I wanted these revelations. The falling is the best part. It falls a little short because it's all, "...when I first saw you..." that we see from the opening credits. Almost ignoring all the torture she went through.
Am I holding a grudge? Maybe. A little more "I loved you whens" would go a long way though.
Baran comes thru.

Hasan keeps pushing at Firat to accept the shares off Derya. And he's hit upon the one thing Firat wants: not power over Baran but a well regarded reputation in the family. If he gets in good with Baran, the news of the marriage will be better received. And backed up. Which will also mean relief for Gul, his ultimate goal. Doing anything his father wants is a hard pill though.

Sabiha is coming to grips with having chained Dilan, her real daughter, and kept her prisoner. I did wonder about that.

The lovebirds sleep in each other's arms and when they wake up, Dilan goes to get out of bed but Baran pulls her back. Don't get up yet.
An almost kiss paired with his phone ringing. Baran ignores it! He's still going in...
Dilan insists. The phone, Baran.
Ooof. It's Cevahir. Should have stuck to the kiss.
He's still smarting from the last minute cancellation.Oh well. When Baran gets off the phone, Dilan again makes to get up. He pulls her back a 2nd time! Where are you going? Don't go. No buts. Almost kiss and Dilan starts babbling excuses.
The gimmick is good, don't get me wrong. But I'm starting to wonder: what's it going to take for her to feel comfortable?
Cuz I'm comfortable. They could do this anytime.
We may have our answer, and If I'm right, it's a good one.
When they are getting ready, side by side, morning bathroom routine, she dabs lotion on his cheek. He stills. Wipes it away. Then she dabs some more. Then a tiny splash of water. Then hands full of it. Finally he retaliates and splashes her back. More silliness.
They are playin' y'all. She just needs to know she can be silly with him, that FrownyBaran isn't all seriousness, even in love. Her personality demands someone she can laugh with. This is what will change things for her. And I can get behind that.

Firat got the shares. And he's...changing rooms?
Baran is back in the suit, standing solid and waiting for Cevahir. I think Baran is just that much taller than Cevahir. And Cevahir is the sort that would let that bother him. He's surprised to see Baran. The meeting was with Kudret. (Did he think Kudret was such a pushover?) Well, no matter. A Karabey is a Karabey. Oooooh, that gets a teethsuck from Baran. (Those are still delightful, even now.) Diamonds from Africa + quick delivery...Baran has reservations. He is kinda raking Cevahir over the coals. He even holds a finger up, silencing Cevahir, keeping him waiting to go talk to Dilan when she walks up.
Cevahir retaliates by bringing up how well the vendetta worked out, in a snide way. Baran ends the meeting. There may be a bruising handshake standoff, I can't tell.

Firat is being sneaky; his new room is near Gul's. They can canoodle when everyone is asleep. He's telling her his plan when Azade-doom walks in.
Baran is very supportive of Dilan's emotional roller coaster. He gets a kiss on the palm that is caressing her cheek.
Seyit shows up at the mansion. They meet him hand in hand.
The results are in! Sabiha can't look. Havin reads it. Dilan is her daughter! But now, after all she's done, how will she tell her?
Seyit divulges he has the name of her mom's employer.

Yelling at the tv:
*They're so lovey dovey lately, always asking what they did to deserve someone so wonderful. Or how they're lucky to have found the other person. It's a welcome change and one I feel like we earned after all those excruciatingly hard scenes. Hard won. We'll hold tight.

Teaser: 203:
Baran finds out about Firat buying the shares and not because Firat told him. He sees it as a betrayal. Dilan calms him down; he gets a kiss on the cheek.

Episode 201 A Tale Of Two Marriages

Quick Synopsis: Court case gone bad. Did they or didn't they? Sabiha takes action.

The honeymooners are back home. Hand to forehead kisses all around. Even Azade-doom welcomes Dilan back without even a hint of sarcasm.
Has she turned over a new leaf? Maybe Ahmet talked to her?

Seyit is still searching for Esra too. Hanife is grumbly about it. So far they know a Mrs. Nevin hired Esra (for the janitor job I think). In other news, they are pulling in Harun to be their guy to research what kind of shop they should open. They miss having the restaurant and the income. And not relying on the Karabeys.
Kudret and Cihan are on the case for team Karabey. Cihan is collecting hospital staff records.
They love birds almost kiss. Like, for realz. At the last moment, he goes to the corner of her mouth, and up her cheek. 200 was a milestone. We have traversed a threshold. Woot!

Sabiha is 99.9% sure Dilan is her daughter. She figured out Hikmet probably gave their daughter to Seyit and that's the debt. Havin encourages caution and she's probably right. Havin is on the case for team Sabiha.

It's starting to feel like chasing Pokemon in here.
Hasan the Rat and Azade-doom are Team Rocket. Obvs.

Baran is hanging out with his dad and brother, on the couch in the study, in just a shirt, unbuttoned at the collar. This is definitely a more relaxed Baran.
Cihan is a mensch, helping with all the research about Dilan's mom.
Gul skirts around the facts of their honeymoon--so our suspicions are not entirely confirmed--saying Dilan looks different and maybe they'll have kids voices in the house in the future. And maybe it's time to get out some fancy nightgowns, hmmm?
She doesn't divulge her marriage to Firat.
Dilan is laying out her treasures, the mementos of her life, when Baran walks in. The Karabeys lost the case of them vs. Derya for her shares in the company. Baran is slamming-doors-angry and wants to know how they could possibly lose this case.
Frankly, so do I. Ms. Murderess-and-more won out? Makes no sense.
Kerem wouldn't have let this happen.
Baran and Firat come to a head again about his involvement with her. Kudret is also giving Hasan some serious side-eye.
Azade notices the change in Baran and Dilan.
Hasan gets nosy about the box of records Cihan brings into the house. Cihan throws him off under the guise of medical school stuff. (See?! Mensch.)

Dilan is lamenting. If she could be with her mom, they'd have memories for her box too. If they hadn't had to move all the time growing up, she'd have more. Baran knows how to fix the melancholy: he shoves the box aside and scoots closer, putting an arm around her shoulders.  They will think of the future. Of kids.* Of the things she'll save for them. They have that whole storage room, remember. She can fill that up. He says something really sweet too, to give her hope of her mom being part of it all: What's a kid without a knitted sweater from his grandmother."
Adorbs.
They're going to kiss!
Cihan knocks at the door.
Ok, so it's not so much have they kissed, as it is do we get to see it now.
Baran turns around with an absolute look of disdain. It's hilarious. In the 'your little brother just ruined your moment' way. Me too, B. Me too.
He even tells him, "wait a minute" which is new. It means things could be going on, immediate admittance not permitted. This was not a possibility previously. Now, it definitely is.

Hasan gets a little too casual with Cevahir. The man never can read a room.
Cevahir is behind the adverse decision about the shares. Figures. At least there's a reason, because that made hella sense. They bribed the lawyer to 'forget' some documents.** Cevahir is a rat too.

Azade-doom continues her reign of terror over Gul and Firat, without any real reason at this point. It bugs Firat. He doesn't want to see his wife subjected to this crap anymore. He's itching to tell everyone about the marriage.

Gul tried to set the mood for the lovebirds in their room with candles and a slip of a nightgown. And a rose. She and Firat have a moment when she tells him to be quiet and puts a finger over his lips. They end up staring at each other and their mouths. She takes a step back. He moved forward, takes her hand. Can't he touch his wife? He wants to know. But Gul scoots. She doesn't want to get caught. His lament? I can't even enjoy my marriage, man.
Poor toad.

Sabiha finds out Hikmet took the wrap for Seyit. And that Dilan was a vendetta bride. Which seems like old news, so why so upset?
Dilan finds Gul's surprise 1st. Baran walks in and she tucks the nightie behind her back. He is mildly praising of the candles and stuff. Dilan wants to know, "Um, is it getting a little warm in here?" Baran shakes his head no.
Oh yeah it is!
She's going to bolt again but he grabs her arms holding her in place. She's dropped the silk nightgown in her haste. He is amused.
She is wearing regular PJs in the morning. Baran is back in black. She is dreaming of her mother as he sits on the edge of the bed next to her, caressing her hair. She remembers a few details when she wakes up that may come into play later. Baran has made her a photo album of pictures of them, and room for more, some....crowded photos. i.e. with kids.***

The hospital records Cihan brought haven't panned out.
Sabiha invites Dilan for coffee and a chat. Dilan invites her to the mansion instead. Baran gets frowny and fidgety, standing by and hearing only half of the conversation.
Kader and Gul wonder about her coming over. Kader is not a fan.
Silah comes around again. (My dude, just...no.) Oh! He gets a teethsuck from Gul. Kader shoos him away.
She had given Gul her wallet to go shopping and now Gul remembers there's something in her purse she shouldn't see, but her mom is going to get the wallet back. Gul is stuck serving coffee and desperate to get back to the kitchen before her mom goes rooting around in her purse.

Culturisms:
*Ok, so it's the 2nd time someone has mentioned the possibility of kids in this episode, post honeymoon. Plus the fuzzy camera effect...I gotta think we're post-kiss for sure, and post wedding night as well. Each mention of kids is like a cue to us that they finally have a true marriage. Apparently this is how family shows in Turkey roll. Noted.

Also, when asked how they take their coffee, people keep saying "without" sugar. How does it usually come?

Yelling at the tv:
**Cevahir's henchman's name got translated as Poet. That seems incongruous for evil, hired muscle.
***I just had an awful thought: Maybe we will never see them kiss. Maybe this is the equivalent of the end of that anticipation. If we never see them start to get canoodly in bed (even if it translates to the fuzzy camera effect) but they could have kids now, maybe we will now only ever see the moments they are stopped from kissing in front of people. Even though, presumably, they smooch when they're alone. Almost as if the gimmick went from 'almost the first kiss' to 'we never get a moment alone'.

Teaser 202:
Sabiha shows herself out--much to Gul's relief--but she swiped a cup with Dilan's DNA on it. Just as Dilan is losing hope that her mom might be dead after all, Sabiha is going to prove her hope that Dilan is her daughter. She says, "Not long now." And even the camera flip flopping between them both thinks so.

Kan Cicekleri 200

 Episode 200 Hubba Hubba

Quick synopsis: Baran sets the mood. Another set of newlyweds. A chat with Huma.

Sabiha is 99% sure Dilan is her daughter. She visits the Demirs.

Dilan and Baran are getting dressed up, stepping out... Oh. No they aren't. They are staying in. She is wearing a white, wedding-like dress and a red wedding-like scarf tied in her hair. His face goes slack when he sees her. He is still in the Mardinesque white shirt and vest, sleeves rolled up. (Forearms.) More pewter cups.
I like this fancy place.
It gets very lovey dovey and hand squeezy over dinner.

Firat and Gul look at themselves in the big foyer mirror when they get home. They're so darn cute.
Azade-doom is berating Kader in the kitchen. Spare the rod....yadda yadda. Even as she watches Kader clutch her heart and the camera goes wonky to show a fainting spell coming on. And she goes down. Azade looks unconvinced.

When dinner's over Baran pulls up a new song on his phone. He takes down her hair, running his fingers through it. Then he pulls her against him for a minute, spins her around. Very close, very slow dancing ensues. There are candles and smiles, spins and cheeks pressed together, face caressing. Even Dilan, who scrapes her fingers through his beard.
The man knows how to set a mood.
She's got her hand on his neck, more comfortable, bolder now.
A dip as they dance.
They walk to the bed. Hands on her waist, pulls her in tight up against him.
The camera goes fuzzy.
This is it, right? This has got to be the honeymoon night. They'll have kissed, done all the things married couples do. There's no more speculation. The fuzzy camera makes that clear. Weirdly.
Morning after, curled against each other. In PJs. (Family show, remember?)
But I do think they actually slept together. I'm sure we didn't get that wrong.
When she asks if he slept, she gets a tiny teeth-suck in return. Particularly when she goes to roll away out of bed and he grabs her back like a yo-yo and says, "come here" before the camera goes fuzzy again
They are GIGG-ly.

Whew! Kader is ok. Ish. Azade-doom feels a little ashamed. Enough to snap at Hasan when he asks if she said anything to upset Kader. Enough to mutter 'get well soon'. And look sheepish.
Kudret takes charge. No more work today; go rest. Firat approves. He's got a stake in the situation now, remember. That's his mother-in-law they're talking about.
Azade apologizes.(!) It's whispered, and to her back, but it's heard.

There's a lot more honeymoon face caressing--from Dilan now, who revels in it--and all the little intricacies they know about each other, calling each other husband and wife. Oooh, and there's grabbing of biceps.
Well yah, that seems a given.
I'm glad they get the full marriage and honeymoon they will remember, a truly cherished, magical time that will blot out the disaster the actual wedding night turned out to be. This is soooo good. I think we needed it too.

OMG. Azade is on the war path again. Lady, you just gave someone you care about an almost heart attack. Lay off already. Take a breather.

Sabiha decides not to talk to Hanife. Given her disposition, she'd never tell her the truth anyway.
Boy, she got that right.
Except she does approach her. Just not confront her.

When the honeymooners are done shopping, Baran has other ideas. He wraps his arms around her from behind, hugging her tightly. When she turns around, he lays a prolonged kiss on her forehead. When he looks at her, she starts to get antsy and makes an excuse to walk away. But he won't let go of her hand. And pulls her back to him. Amusedly, he tells her she's running away again. She sheepishly puts a finger to her lips, unable to say words, a silent plea to just give her a moment. Finger to lips, a little nod of acknowledgment, a giggly smile and she takes off again.*

Azade-doom gets after Gul. But Gul--oh there's ma girl!--she calls her back into the kitchen, stoney-faced and without pause. Do whatever you want to me, but you don't go near my mom. She calls her on that BS and reminds her of Kader's unwavering service. Oh! And her bad decision and thoughtlessness in going after Kader like she did.  Azade leaves the room chastised and looking a little ashamed. Gul's point is that she (Azade) did this to someone (Kader) whom she actually cares for. It's brilliant. It calls the Karabey pride into question. They are the family that takes care of people. Azade is supposed to be better than this.
Firat overhears and nods, smiling.**

The honeymooners are heading back. They'll talk iwth the woman who knew Esra. This was all to kill some time, remember? A trip to get away from everything and needing to wait.
Sabiha is having coffee with Hanife and Cevriye. They are looking through old photo albums. One photo in particular stops her cold. It's her husband, Dilan's father. The caption on the back said he owes Seyit his life.
This is about as confirming as it gets, folks.
Gul and Firat steal a moment alone. Married, but still always this strife. The marriage will stay secret a little while longer.

The old woman, Huma, confirms what they found out about Dilan's mom being framed, her family issuing a death warrant (criminiy), but it was hearing that her child died that almost did her in.
Poor Sabiha.
Yes, she then went to Istanbul. Became a janitor at a private hospital, always hid her address to stay safe. But she bought Huma a house. And paid for her son's education. She must be rich now. (This seems like the kind of thing that Baran could use to find out more. He's good at digging into hidden purchases and alt finances. Or, Kerem was at least. sigh.)
I mean, hospital...rich lady...Istanbul...this should start something in their brains firing.
The last Huma heard from her was last December. She was crying on the phone, had a big problem.  (Like maybe her adopted daughter Gulsah died? Or the dude she was fake dating named Baran was getting married to someone else?)
I bet this December phone call comes back into play later.

Yelling at the tv:
*I wonder if some of the reticence of Dilan coming across as being shy stems from not having received much love as a child. Not the unconditional, unabashed kind anyway.  Not like Baran obviously witnessed from his parents. And now there's this man who tells her not to look away, gives her compliments, tells her how important she is to him. Someone she knows would not say these things unless he was absolutely sure of them himself, whose word she has come to know, who says what he means. Maybe it isn't innocence per se, but being overwhelmed with the directness with which he loves her and tells her. The man is poetic, but not subtle.

**This will be a good stepping stone for Gul. She gains some ground by pointing out this flaw in Azade specifically because she understands what the Karabey name means (compassion, justice, care for their family).

1 Hagia Sofia chanted, and, in a nod to the honeymoon, 5 Mardin Forts chanted.

Culturisms:
Telkari is an elegant technique for jewelry, so says Dilan. I'll be looking that up.

Teaser 201:
Dilan is sorrowful over her small box of mementos, all that she has of her life. Baran reminds her they have a whole future to look forward to. They'll fill that box right up.

Kan Cicekleri 199

 Episode 199 Marriage And Honeymoon

Quick synopsis: A trip to Mardin. Somebody gets married. A singing finale.

The knock comes again from outside their hotel room. Baran looks daggers at the door as Dilan pulls away. A heavy, resigned sigh, and then he looks forlornly after her as she moves across the room. She actually escapes to the bathroom and he answers the door. The look he gives the poor hotel clerk. Oof. Like Amy Winehouse says, he could "Tear men down like Roger Moore" right now. Dilan is excited, if feeling overwhelmed. She's pretty smiley.

Right! Gul's engagement ring fell out of her purse, onto the floor, right behind Azade-doom. Step on it Gul! Something! Cover it up. Firat walks in just as she turns around and puts himself between Gul and her doom.
(See what I did there?)
Plus, the little squint and nod that he gives her on the way out is absolutely adorable.
I'm loving child-like Firat in love.

Baran and Dilan are both glancing and smiling during dinner, though Dilan just picks at her food. Uh-oh...and they both reach for the salt at the same time... She pulls away and just when I think he's going to hand it to her like he's done in the past, he salts her food.
Wha-?
Anyway.
Some more eating and then he gets up and goes around behind her to bend down and ask in her ear if she wants dessert.
I'm pretty sure that 's an innuendo.
Dilan gets panicky again and jumps up. No, she's tired. She'll go to bed.
Baran stalks. You know what I'm talking about. It's a very deliberate stepping, almost as if he's leading with his hips, like when he puts his hands in his pockets and leads with them and his shoulders. He's challenging these fears she has, countering her arguments. And he gets a to tip his head, a questioning look.
She immediately feels chagrined and almost turns around to tell him, but ultimately doesn't.

Firat and Gul share (literally) a cup of coffee.
OMG y'all. Firat is the cutest.

Baran is doing a lot of leaning down on her chair tonight. Dilan continues her ruse with a false yawn and a sidelong look like, whelp, here we go.
Baran is perpetually amused by this reticence. I think for the physical stuff, but also because she refuses to talk to him about it. The whole scene is painful and hilarious.
She walks away from the vanity toward the bed but Baran stalks again, pulling on her arm to twist her around to face him. Just looking at his wife, that's all. She says goodnight and lays down.
He is smiling as he walks toward it too, amused.
And y'all, she's literally hiding under the covers.
He shakes his head in amusement.
Holy Frick: he turns out the light. For the first time in, like, almost 200 episodes.
As he reaches over to turn out the light on her side of the bed, she freaks out. What's she scared of, he asks?
She almost tells him. Or maybe isn't exactly sure, I think she might want to just sit with the new closeness for a bit, enjoying the newness of it to herself, this man she loves, loving her, and now openly wanting her too.*
She is still under the covers, but she is smiling to herself too.
But in the morning we are still doing the pretend-you-are-asleep thing.
And he knows she's faking. Ha!

Sabiha gets DNA results. None of the kids' are a match to hers. The children buried where Hikmet told her aren't her daughter. Now she's got a mission.
Cevahir is back at the mansion.
Is Gul going to be able to leave to go to the courthouse?

Dilan and Baran have an interesting conversation at breakfast. She has remarked before how getting to know someone's childhood brings you closer to them. Particularly in a marriage. And especially seeing and visiting the places. It's a very vulnerable part of themselves they share with you. And for DIlan, who feels like she lost her family, is missing a piece of her childhood, and is now being accepted by a new family, with deep ties in an old town, not to mention the man who is helping her find her mom... It's like a magic spell. A bit like a fairytale. A dark prince, a lost princess, a love that brings them together.
I mean, remember when he didn't want the family back in Mardin to even know about her? Complete opposite now.

Now Sabiha is at the mansion too. Kudret and Cevahir sign off on the contract.

Ooooh! Now the lovebirds are side by side at the breakfast table. He's got his arm around her shoulders. It's lovely to see them both delighting in each other, cherishing their new closeness.

Cevahir is smarmy. But he's leaving. Dilan isn't home so Sabiha is taking off too. Gul gets away! Firat is waiting, And off they go, after he calls her Gul Karabey. Squee!
Sabiha calls Cevahir out. Like, form the doorway as he's crossing the drive. She struts forward and has some things to say to that man. His only aim? To see if he could infiltrate the Karabey family. Havin and Sabiha are not impressed.
Hanife bought a gun. Lordy. She's really stuck on this Karabeys-will-enact-vengeance kick.

Dilan and Baran stroll hand in hand through the market. She takes teeny bites of a sample pastry. He brushes crumbs from her lips with his thumb. They hold parasols. (Is that a tourist thing in coastal Turkey?) Selfie in front of a mural.** She cuddles up to him. He takes her face in his hands and she...takes his in hers hands! She's a little bolder having told him she wants to know him better, know everything about him. He's bought her another scarf. This one has little coins dangling from the edges. He knows how to tie it in the traditional style. There's a musician playing in a square. They nod to each other; they'll dance.
It's the same dance as the wedding dance.
They get to mend the rift, do that dance over, in Mardin, with her in a Mardin head scarf, after having spent the day immersed in a personal old world paradise. Complete with hand slap to the ground (the Mardin ground), hand to the heart, to the mouth, to the head. Then hand to her. The complete dance, her tucked up against him. The people gather around, and he kisses her forehead when they are done.

Firat bought Gul a veil when she wasn't looking on their shopping spree.
Hasan's man in Mardin tells him Baran and Dilan are walking and shopping, nothing else.
He's so wrong.
They did it! Firat and Gul are married!! Cihan was the best man. Firat is unstoppable when his eyes are smiling.
Baran and Dilan watch the sunset from a hillside. It's a local legendary spot. Star crossed lovers would come and yell what was in their hearts. The words never disappeared, just echoed off the hills. Dilan points out that this means they are surrounded by love stories. Their story should be there too. She spreads her arms wide and yells "I love you, Baran Karabey!". He yells it too, that he loves her, and then they stand, clasped together on the hillside in the setting sun. And Baran...sings?!
Hold. the. phone.
OMG Dude can sing? Ok, this old world fairytale is complete.
No, it's not, because now she's singing too!
Officially this is the love episode. Official honeymoon.
This is a happy, souls-bared, couple.

Culturisms:
Dilan and Baran's room service set includes pewter like teacups. Interesting. Is this high end cutlery in Turkey? I like it. It looks like treasure.
*Ok, for as much as I'm always going on about 'how have they not kissed' I do have to say, even aside from this being one of the points of dizi, it's one of the things I like about his show. There's not a jump to physical stuff. Options are nice.
And as much as I like that part, there are also some really disturbing things too, very centric things, that I could do without. Like him salting her food. It's a cultural thing, I know, and I accept that as much as the not kissing thing. But the pervasive husband-knows-best undercurrent, even when she's asserting herself and proven to be right, is something I cannot get behind.
But once you've accepted the vendetta bride as your plot premise, in for a pound I guess.
One last thing: I do actually quite like this push back that she does to assert herself, and is proven right so many times, to undermine that stereotype that he is the last word. I suppose this could also be a trope, but it makes the show palatable to a more feminist audience.

Yelling at the tv:
**I think they walk past a chalk drawing of the Elvish gate at Kazakdum on a wall. #Azade-doom.

Teaser 200:
Dilan is in a wedding dress. Baran closes the door. They have room service again. A new song. Some disrobing. Honeymoon episode part 2. The man knows how to set a mood.
