Kan Cicekleri episode 164 part 2

 Episode #164 Dinner Guest - Part 2

Quick synopsis: A swoon. Gul is straight with Firat. Dilan finally snaps.

After dinner Baran confronts Dilan again in their room. She tries to be mean. He's not buying it (Hallelujah!) and keeps crowding her back toward the bed until--Swoon!--she falls back, but in one fluid motion, he cradles her head and catches her around her back so she lands light as a feather.* He falls with her and is cradling her.
"Repeat what you just said," he demands.
He's not playing fair, but we love it. And damn! It's about time we see some of that prowess focused on finding out and fixing the problem instead of being completely reactionary. Watched that scene a few times.
FrownyBaran is having a NIGHT!
He is so close to kissing her. Like actually on the mouth. She turns away at the last second. But we've seen their internal monologue at this moment about wanting each other.
Don't give up FrownyBaran. You're so close.
But he gets up and leaves the room.

Sabiha is back home in her little girl's shrine room. And ohhhhh, this makes sense: she's got a complex. She had a daughter; lost her. Had a new daughter figure come into her life; lost her. Now I think Dilan has somehow morphed from prisoner to surrogate daughter. Ironic, that. As well as, it sounds like one of the previous girls was in love with Baran too? This is news. So now she thinks she sees it happening all over again. Especially at dinner. Especially after Kudret's speech.

In the kitchen Gul is tired. Closing her eyes and rolling her neck tired. Enter Firat. He's in khakis, not a dark suit. Per previous episode costume rules, this is a good sign. He's still in love with her. He advances but she pleads with him, why are you doing this to me, just when I'm starting to get over you? "Open the door or close it, Firat." Geez, I love her. She's so great. He backs off. The decision will have to come later.

Baran walks back in their room and he's so upset. He accuses her, you will beg me for forgiveness one day. For you, I took my father to the man who killed my mother.
And we die a little inside. It's heartbreaking.

For Dilan too. She vows nothing will come between them again. She was able to love him freely in the hospital and she's not going back again.
And that's when frickin' Sabiha texts gain.

OMG! Oh. My. God. Dilan sneaks into Sabiha's house and holds a really big knife to her throat.
When I said Dilan would snap and reign down fire, I did not think it would look like this.
Holy smokes y'all.

Yelling at the tv:
Holy frick that's a big knife. A la Miranda Lambert, "and (he) ain't seen me crazy yet". Well, we can't say that anymore.
* My god. This swoon in one fell swoop, is this a thing in Turkish stories? Like 'open sesame' in Aladdin, or jousting in fairy tales? It's fantastic. Yes, please. I'll have one fell swoon, to go, thanks.

Culturalisms:
I wonder if the bedfall / swoop-swoon was considered a stunt?
